The Apple TV is Back on Amazon

After being removed from Amazon over a fight about Amazon Prime Video today Amazon has readded the new Apple TV 4K to their store.

Update: Looks like Amazon just pulled the Apple TV from their store. We are not the only ones who saw it as Tech Crunch also posted about it.

The Apple TV is currently out of stock at the time of this post but it is listed as “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com. Gift-wrap available.” This makes it an official Amazon listing as only Amazon can add that tag to their items. Meaning stock will likely soon be added allowing you to buy the Apple TV 4K from Amazon

This summer at WWDC Appl announced that Amazon Prime Video’s will be coming to the Apple TV App Store this summer. This all happened during the keynote at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Jose, California.

This has been rumored for about a month now but is now officially happening. A source familiar with the company’s thinking says the app is expected to go live this summer but cautioned that the hard launch date may change. Amazon had previously declined to even submit a Prime Video app for inclusion in Apple’s Apple TV App Store, despite Apple’s “all are welcome” proclamations.

Here is how Amazon describes the product:

Apple TV 4K makes your favorite TV shows and movies even more amazing. Videos play in stunning detail with picture quality that’s more true to life.
