Dolby Vision will be enabled on the Apple TV app for Xbox this week. The company shared the update in a blog post this week.

“Combined with the immersive audio of Dolby Atmos, you’ll be able to see and hear what you’ve been missing for a premium experience like no other,” the post says. “Unlock a remarkable entertainment experience with the ultra-vivid picture of Dolby Vision. Feast your eyes on a wider spectrum of colors with highlights that are up to 40 times brighter and blacks that are 10 times darker than a standard picture.”

You’ll need to have your Xbox connected to a Doby Vision compatible TV to use the feature. On your game console, go to Settings > General > TV & display options > Video Modes and enable “Allow Dolby Vision.”

With the Apple TV app, you can subscribe to Apple TV+ to catch Apple TV originals like Ted Lasso, See, and For All Mankind. You can also subscribe to channels like Showtime, CBS All Access, and AMC+ through the app to watch more content without switching from one app to another. You can subscribe to Apple TV+ on the Apple TV app directly from your Xbox for $4.99 per month after a 7 day free trial.

Microsoft says more entertainment apps are coming to Xbox this summer, joining the most recent additions of Discovery+, Paramount+, and IMDb TV.
