Apple Launches 24 Hour Apple Music TV App

This morning Apple launched a new app called Apple Music TV, a 24-hour live stream of music videos, live shows, and other music-related content. The app will also feature “exclusive new music videos and premiers, specially curated music video blocks, and live shows and events as well as chart countdowns and guests,” according to an announcement sent to Variety.

The new music service launched October 19, kicking things off with a top 100 countdown of the most-streamed songs on Apple Music in the U.S. Apple Music TV will also premiere exclusive new music videos every Friday at noon ET, beginning October 22 with Joji’s “777” and Saint Jhn’s “Gorgeous.”

Variety announced that this Thursday will also feature an “all day Bruce takeover” in celebration of Bruce Springsteen’s upcoming “Letter to You” album. The app will feature “music-video blocks of his most popular videos, an interview with Zane Lowe, anchor of Apple Music’s radio station, and a special livestream fan event.”

You can watch ‌Apple Music‌ TV in both the ‌Apple Music‌ and Apple TV apps. It’s currently highlighted in the Apple TV app and at the top of the Browse tap in Apple Music so users can find it easily.
