Apple Just Made AirPods Max 2 Much Easier to Buy With This Massive $150 Discount

If you have been waiting for Apple’s premium over-ear headphones to hit a more manageable price, this is a good one. The AirPods Max 2 are down to $399 at Amazon, cutting $150 off the usual $549 price.

That is a solid discount on one of Apple’s most feature-packed headphones. According to Apple, the AirPods Max 2 are powered by the H2 chip, deliver up to 1.5x more effective Active Noise Cancellation than the previous generation, and add features like Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Personalized Spatial Audio, and Live Translation.

Apple AirPods Max 2 Highlights

For cord cutters, these are the kind of headphones that make a difference whether you are watching movies on a tablet, listening to music while working, or trying to drown out background noise on a long flight or commute. Apple also says the headphones support Bluetooth 5.3, include Touch ID-style control via the Digital Crown, and work with the rest of the Apple ecosystem.

The classic design features a knit-mesh canopy, memory foam ear cushions, telescoping arms, and a Starlight finish (also available in other colorways). Apple says the headphones are also built for Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, which should help create a more theater-like listening experience.

If you have been holding off on buying AirPods Max 2 because of the price, this deal makes them a lot easier to justify. At $399, they are still a premium purchase, but this is a much better entry point than the usual $549 tag
