Not only is this live on Android TV but you will find this new experience on the Chromecast with Google TV along with TVs that run Google TV from Sony, TCL, Hisense, and Philips.

Here is how Google describes this new live TV service:

Introducing the Live tab

Starting today, we’re bringing the Live tab to Android TV. On the Live tab, you’ll get access to free channels from Tubi, Plex, Pluto TV, and Haystack. We’re also launching free built-in channels from Google TV that you can watch without downloading or launching an app.

In total, you can browse over 800 channels, including news channels from NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX. You’ll also find channels from around the world, with programming in more than 10 languages including Spanish, Hindi, and Japanese.

Find what you’re looking for with ease

The Live tab TV guide brings all your new free TV channels together and organizes them for easier and faster browsing. You can also save your “Favorites” to the top of your guide for quick and easy access. Live entertainment is also mixed into your recommendations, based on your favorite teams, shows, and channels.

The new live TV experience will be rolling out to all Android TV devices in the U.S. over the next few weeks.
