Amazon’s Luna Cloud Gaming Service is Now Available to All U.S. Customers

Amazon announced today that its Luna gaming service is now available for customers in the mainland U.S. and that it has expanded its library to include more games and new features.

New games include a Prime Gaming Channel that gives Amazon Prime customers a rotating collection of free games. Luna also added a Retro channel with class games and a Jackbox Games channel with fan favorites like You Don’t Know Jack. Check out full descriptions of the new channels from Amazon, below.

In addition to the new channels, Luna is getting a couple of upgraded features. Live Broadcasting to Twitch gives users the ability to stream live on Twitch with just a few clicks. Look for a new broadcast button with the latest Luna update on PC, Mac, and Fire TV. And, with the new Luna Phone Controller feature, users can now try Luna on Fire TV using just an iPhone or Android phone as the controller. Just use the free Luna Controller app on iOS and Android.

Luna has a variety of channels to choose from, including family games, casual games, and games for the core gamer. Luna now offers six gaming channels with an expansive catalog of titles that can be streamed in high definition. The new channels now offered include:

Starting today, Luna is available to everyone in the mainland United States on compatible devices, including Fire TV, Fire tablets, Windows PCs, Chromebook, Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android phones. To start playing, download the Luna Controller app, use a compatible controller, or purchase the Luna Controller.

On April 1, starting a new subscription for Luna+ will cost $9.99 per month and Family Channel will cost $5.99 per month. Existing early access customers, and customers who sign up for Luna+ or Family Channel by March 31, 2022, can lock in founder’s pricing and keep Luna+ at $5.99 per month and Family Channel $2.99 per month, so long as they maintain their subscriptions in good standing.
