Amazon is Announcing New Hardware Today – Here is What You Can Expect

Amazon is hosting an event in Seattle today, where the company is expected to unveil new hardware. While the company is known for keeping news under wraps leading up to major announcements, there has been a lot of speculation about what we might see at the event.

We’ve heard rumors that announcements will include new Echo devices and Ring products. These announcements would make sense as the Echo Dot, Echo Plus, and Echo Show all saw updates at Amazon’s September event, while the standard Echo was not updated.

Amazon recently introduced Amazon Music HD, a new tier of Amazon Music, offering premium quality music with a library of over 50 million HD songs. That announcement has led many to believe that we’ll see a new speaker added to Amazon’s device lineup.

With Amazon Fire tablets currently on sale, there is also speculation that we might see a new Amazon tablet at the event.

At the same event last year, Amazon shared several new Fire TV products. The announcements in 2018 included the introduction of the Fire TV Recast. This year, there is talk of a potential update to the Fire TV Recast, along with the Fire TV Stick, or even the introduction of a completely new streaming device.

With Disney+, Apple TV+, HBO Max, and NBC Peacock all making announcements recently, it’s possible that we’ll also get an update about the future of Amazon Prime Video.

We’ll be covering Amazon’s event live, so stay tuned for updates as we get them.
