Samsung Electronics has launched an ambitious cross-media celebration for the return of Prime Video’s hit series Fallout, partnering with Amazon, Bethesda Softworks, and Xbox to turn Samsung smart TVs into the ultimate hub for the post-apocalyptic franchise.
From tomorrow until December 25, the entire first season of Fallout will stream completely free and without any subscription on Samsung TV Plus, the company’s free ad-supported streaming service. Viewers in more than 30 countries can revisit the critically acclaimed adaptation of Bethesda’s iconic video game series on any recent Samsung smart TV, Galaxy device, Smart Monitor, or Family Hub screen, including the latest Vision AI-powered Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, and OLED models. The limited-time offering arrives just two weeks before Season Two premieres exclusively on Prime Video on December 17, giving both newcomers and returning fans the perfect chance to catch up before the story continues into the irradiated ruins of New Vegas and the Mojave wasteland.
The campaign extends far beyond streaming. Samsung and Prime Video have rolled out large-scale co-branded promotions, including prominent digital displays across New York City’s Times Square, designed to build excitement for the new season. When Season Two finally arrives, Samsung TVs promise to showcase the series in its full cinematic glory, leveraging the company’s latest display technologies to bring the retro-futuristic wasteland to life with deep contrast, vivid color, and razor-sharp detail.
Gaming takes center stage through Samsung Gaming Hub, the cloud-gaming platform built directly into 2022-and-newer Samsung smart TVs. Players with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription can instantly jump into Fallout 76 and its massive new Burning Springs expansion – the largest update the online multiplayer title has ever received – without downloading or owning a console. Set chronologically just before the events of the television series, the expansion introduces new regions in post-nuclear Ohio and, for the first time, brings the television show’s breakout character, The Ghoul, into the game world, complete with the original voice performance by Walton Goggins. The crossover creates a seamless loop between watching the show and living inside its universe on the same screen.
The collaboration transforms the living-room television into a single destination that spans every facet of the Fallout franchise: binge-watching the first season for free, experiencing the new episodes in premium picture quality, and exploring the ever-expanding game world through cloud streaming. Additional tie-ins include exclusive Twitch chat badges throughout December for anyone who subscribes or gifts subscriptions to streamers playing Fallout 76.
By uniting streaming services, cloud gaming, and blockbuster television under one ecosystem, Samsung positions its smart TVs as the central hub for one of 2025’s biggest entertainment events, allowing fans to move effortlessly between watching Lucy’s journey on screen and stepping into the boots of their own vault dweller – all from the same remote control.
