Amazon’s Freevee Now Offers Over 300 Free Live Channels Making It One of The Largest Free Streaming Services

This week, Amazon Freevee announced that it had reached a deal with MGM and Warner Bros. Discovery to add more free, ad-supported channels. These new channels will add to the growing catalog of over 280 free channels currently available on the service bringing the total to over 300 free live channels.

With Amazon’s Freevee service you will find a huge catalog of movies and TV shows that include Originals, popular movies, food, game shows, classic TV, reality, news, and sports. All channels can be accessed through the Freevee app, as well as within Fire TV and Prime Video.

“FAST Channels offer Freevee viewers an always-on, 24/7, lean-back viewing experience that immediately connects them to a selection of TV shows, movies, and unscripted programming such as news, sports, and music,” said Ryan Pirozzi, head of Amazon Freevee. “MGM and Warner Bros. Discovery create content that appeals to a diverse fan base—action, comedy, drama, scripted, unscripted, and more. We are incredibly excited Freevee customers will have even more choice when it comes to what they can watch, whenever and however they choose.”

Here are the new channels being added to Amazon Freevee this week:

MGM –MGM will launch 12 FAST Channels,  adding a new lineup of single-title channels which will include “The Pink Panther,” “Stargate,” “Green Acres,” and “The Outer Limits,” alongside branded channels such as“MGM Presents,” “MGM Presents: Action,” and “MGM Presents: Sci-Fi,” which will be programmed with premium movies and series including Capote and Red Dawn. The MGM FAST Channels join “Paternity Court,”“In the Heat of the Night,”“The Addams Family,” and“Teen Wolf, all of which are live today on Freevee.

Warner Bros. Discovery – Freevee will launch 11 FAST Channels this June that feature Discovery and WBD studio content, such as “Cake Boss,”“Extreme Couponing, “Ghost Brothers,”“Paranormal Lockdown,”“Say Yes to the Dress,”and“Long Lost Family.

With these new channels being added Amazon’s Freevee service is now one of the largest free live streaming service for cord cutters.

Amazon’s Freevee service is available on Roku, Samsung smart TVs (2017-2021 models), Comcast’s Xfinity Flex, Xfinity X1, Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA SHIELD and other Android TV devices, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, as well as LG Smart TVs (2018-2021 models). The app is also available on iPhone, iPad and Android mobile devices.
