A few months ago we got our first hint of this happening as for a short time an official Apple TV listing showed up on Amazon for a few hours. Now listings for the Chromecast and the Chromecast Ultra have shown up on Amazon.
This raising the question if Google and Amazon have worked things out and Amazon will be coming to the Chormecast or if Amazon is just bringing the Chromecast back for other reasons. Recently Google pulled their YouTube app from the Echo Show and says the YouTube app will be removed from the Fire TV January 1st 2018. Its possible Amazon is adding the Chromecast back in an effort to work things out with Google.
For now, all we know is that the Apple TV and Google Chromecast will soon both be available for sale on Amazon.
