Now it is reported by the New York Post that Amazon is in talks with Sinclair to team up for a joint ownership of the 21 Fox regional sports networks. According to a source who talked with the NY postAmazon and Sinclair are close to a deal.

It is also being reported that MLB is also in talks with Sinclair to get a minority partnership with Sinclair for ownership of the Fox regional sports networks.

Fox regional sports networks and Yes Network air 44 professional teams including teams from the MLB, NBA, and NHL. The company that buys FOX’s regional sports networks will have great power over the future of streaming sports.
