Amazon is About to Refresh the Look of The Fire TV

It seems that Amazon has been busy working on an improved user interface for the Fire TV.

According to images found by AFTVnews.com, the Fire TV is about to get a brand-new look for Alexa on the Fire TV. The graphic cards will look new and give more visual information when you ask Alexa a question.

You will also find that the new voice search will no longer cover the show you are watching when you use it. Instead of a bar across the top, you will now just get an icon in the bottom right to let you know the Fire TV is ready for your voice command. Everything from Weather to the X-ray feature seems to have a new look on the Fire TV user interface.

There is no timeline for when the Fire TV will update with the new Alexa screens; however, it is likely to be coming soon. Because a new Alexa device with a screen is coming out next week, it is possible that Amazon is getting ready to update the Fire TV around the same time.

What do you think of the new look? Do you use the Fire TV Alexa service? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.
