For the first time since 2008, the iconic golf television event, The Skins Game, is set to make a triumphant return on Black Friday, November 28, 2025. Prime Video will exclusively broadcast the high-stakes competition globally, produced by Pro Shop and Propagate Content in collaboration with PGA TOUR Studios. The event will feature four of golf’s brightest stars—Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Thomas, Xander Schauffele, and Keegan Bradley—competing at the stunning new Panther National course in South Florida. With a combined 34 PGA TOUR victories, this powerhouse quartet promises to deliver a thrilling spectacle for golf fans worldwide.

The relaunched Skins Game will kick off at 9 a.m. ET, marking the start of an unprecedented day of live sports on Prime Video. The broadcast will lead into the third annual Black Friday Football game and a new NBA on Prime doubleheader, creating a historic lineup of premium sports programming. Additional coverage details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, building anticipation for this landmark event.

Panther National, a Jack Nicklaus and Justin Thomas-designed course making its debut as a championship venue, provides a dramatic backdrop. Known as The Big Cat, the 18-hole layout features steep elevation changes, breathtaking vistas, and challenging elements like island greens on holes 5 and 15 and island tees on holes 6 and 16. With a nature preserve bordering the course, Panther National offers a serene yet demanding stage for the competition.

The Skins Game will retain its traditional format, where each hole carries a monetary value, and tied holes roll over to increase the stakes. However, a bold new twist—the “reverse purse”—sets this iteration apart. Each player will begin with $1 million on the scoreboard, and their fortunes will fluctuate with every hole won or lost. This innovative structure adds layers of tension, strategy, and drama, ensuring every shot carries immense weight.

The player lineup is a golf fan’s dream. Tommy Fleetwood, the 2025 FedExCup Champion and Ryder Cup points leader, brings his seven DP World Tour titles and fan-favorite charisma. Justin Thomas, a 16-time PGA TOUR winner and Panther National ambassador, is coming off a playoff victory at the RBC Heritage. Xander Schauffele, a two-time major champion with nine TOUR wins, and Keegan Bradley, an eight-time TOUR winner who claimed the Travelers Championship in June, round out the field. Their talent, rivalries, and dynamic personalities guarantee a captivating showdown.

First introduced in 1983 as an unofficial PGA TOUR money event, The Skins Game became a cultural phenomenon, showcasing legends like Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Fred Couples, Gary Player, and Tiger Woods. Its blend of high-stakes competition and entertainment captivated audiences for decades. The relaunched event aims to honor this legacy while infusing modern energy to appeal to today’s fans. Pro Shop Studios, in partnership with PGA TOUR Studios and Propagate Content, has reimagined the franchise to combine tradition with innovation, while Excel Sports Management organizes the tournament and TMRW Sports leads broadcast production.

The return of The Skins Game underscores Prime Video’s commitment to delivering premium sports content. By pairing golf’s storied event with a packed day of football and basketball, the platform is positioning Black Friday as a must-watch sports extravaganza. Panther National’s challenging layout, the reverse purse format, and the star power of Fleetwood, Thomas, Schauffele, and Bradley ensure that this reimagined Skins Game will reclaim its place as a cornerstone of the sports calendar, blending nostalgia with fresh excitement for a global audience.
