Amazon Prime Video Teams Up with Funny or Die, The Economist, Business Insider, & More

Amazon has been working hard to expand its Amazon Prime Video lineup with big name original series, but one effort has been under the radar for some time.

Last year Amazon struck deals with many big content makers to bring their original short-form content to Amazon Prime Video. Companies such as Business Insider, The Economist, Wired, Huffpost, and Funny or Die have all brought short-form documentaries and shows to Amazon Prime.

Many of these videos run about 20 minutes in length and give in-depth looks at everything from political figures such as Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to sports and pop stars such as LeBron James. There are also in-depth looks at Real Estate in America and even the Playboy Mansion.

Looking for something more light hearted? Funny or Die brings you great comedy skits on a wide range of content. Want to learn something? Wired brings you looks into all things tech from drones to chemical science shows.

Although this content may not be for everyone it is great to see Amazon continuing to expand its Prime Video library to reach out to more subscribers.
