Amazon Prime Video is Now the Exclusive Streaming Service for Many Warner Bros. Movies

The-Wedding-SingerAmazon is in a tough battle for content with Netflix, Hulu, and others for rights to stream great movies. Now it looks like they just struck a major deal with Warner Bros. to help give them an edge over the competition.

WB already has many movies on Amazon Prime Video but now many more will be added soon after a recent deal to bring 33 new WB movies to Amazon Prime. Currently you can find movies, such as Oceans’s Eleven and The Wedding Singer, on Amazon but soon other movies, such as Caddyshack, You’ve Got Mail, and the first three Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, will be on Amazon Prime.

No details have been released on how long this deal will last, but it is likely that for the next few years Amazon Prime subscribers will get extra movies every month. This is something Amazon has badly needed to help stand out after Hulu struck a deal to get access to the same movies Amazon Prime subscribers had been getting access to.

WB movies set to be added to Prime Video in the next few months are Any Given Sunday, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Caddyshack, The Candidate, The Devil’s Advocate, Dreamcatcher, Final Destination, Full Metal Jacket, Interview With the Vampire, Lethal Weapon, Lethal Weapon 2, Lethal Weapon 3, Lethal Weapon 4, The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3, Training Day, and You’ve Got Mail.
