Amazon Prime Video Expands Their Lineup for The Visually Impaired

Traditionally, if you are blind your streaming options have been limited. Some services like Netflix have offered an audio version for some content with descriptions of what is happening; however, if you want recent movies you have been out of luck.

Now Amazon Prime Video has started to expand their lineup of movies and TV shows that include an audio track for the blind. This includes new movies like Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time. In total Amazon has over 350 movies that include an audio track for the blind with a description of what is happening on the screen. These new movies include popular movies like Transformers: The Last Knight, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Gran Torino, and Star Trek: Beyond.

Some of these movies are included with Amazon Prime but most are available for rental or purchase. This makes Amazon a great option for anyone who suffers with visual impairments and is looking for ways to watch new movies and TV shows with an audio track made specifically for the visually impaired.

You can find all the movies Amazon offers with a descriptive audio track here.
