This comes shortly after Hulu went on a buying binge and signed several huge deals to get full access to classic shows like M*A*S*H, NYPD Blues, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and more. Hulu has also added TGIF shows like Full House, Step by Step, and more. Yet Hulu didn’t stop there as they also signed deals to bring full seasons of American Dad!, and Bob’s Burgers to Hulu.
Now it looks like Amazon won’t stop there as they are teaming up with FilmRise to bring more classic shows to Amazon.
The shows coming this month to Prime Video from the FilmRise deal are:
- “Roseanne” (9 seasons)
- “3rd Rock From the Sun” (6 seasons)
- “A Different World” (6 seasons)
- “Grace Under Fire” (5 seasons)
- “Cybill” (4 seasons)
- “Grounded for Life” (5 seasons)
This is likely just the start of these deals and Amazon with the help of FilmRise will bring more shows to Amazon in the months to come.
