Amazon Prime Has Discounted Plans for as Little as $5.99 a Month, If You Qualify & Students Can Also Get 6 Months Free

Amazon Prime Student

Students can join Amazon Prime with a 6-month free trial. After that, students can subscribe with a reduced rate of $6.49 a month or $59 a year. To sign up with this discount, you’ll need a student email address ending with .edu. With your student account, you’ll be able to stream content, get 2-day shipping, and use unlimited photo storage.

EBT and Medicaid Discounts

For those with EBT or Medicaid, an Amazon Prime subscription is just $5.99 a month. To sign up, you’ll need to confirm your eligibility. You’ll have access to streaming content, 2-day shipping, and exclusive deals on everyday items including diapers and baby food.

Amazon Family

For no additional fee (just the regular Prime subscription cost of $12.99 a month or $119 a year) you can sign up for Amazon Family. With this membership, you’ll get exclusive offers for your family like up to 20% off of subscriptions for diapers, baby food, and more. You’ll also get 15% off of baby registration completion discount.

Before choosing which Prime membership is right for you, start with a 30-day free trial. With your free trial, you’ll have access to free 2-day shipping, Prime Video, Prime Music, and access to the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library. You’ll need a valid credit card to sign up. After your 30 days, you’ll automatically be moved to a regular Prime membership and your card will be charged.
