Amazon Partners With PlayStation Vue on The Fire TV

This week Amazon announced that they have partnered with PlayStation Vue to better integrate into all current Fire TV models.

“We’ve partnered with Sony’s PlayStation Vue to create a new seamlessly integrated experience — now Fire TV customers can easily discover and stream shows, live sports, and breaking news without frustration.” Amazon said in a statement on their site.

Now you will find PlayStation Vue live channels on the Fire TV home screen. Now you will see shows airing on PlayStation Vue right on your Fire TV home screen allowing you to jump right into the show or game you want to watch without needing to launch PlayStation Vue first.

You will also find that PlayStation Vue now works with the Fire TV’s Channel Guide. You will now be able to bring up the Fire TV channel guide to see what is live on PlayStation Vue for the next 14 days.

With this you will also be able to use Alexa to control PlayStation Vue:

This comes shortly after Apple announced they had added PlayStation Vue to their Apple TV app. It looks like Sony is trying to strike deals with device makers to better feature their service.
