Amazon Now Offers Amazon Music Unlimited For Just $0.99 a Month to Students

Looking for cheap music? Are you a student? Right now you can get Amazon Music Unlimited that includes access to 50 million songs for $0.99 if you are a Prime Student member. Typically this plan would have cost $7.99 a month. It seems that Amazon is hoping this new student plan will help it stand out from other student plans from services like Spotify.

“Music is truly an integral part of campus life and bringing Amazon Music’s premium subscription tier to Prime Student members lets students enjoy their favorite artists, songs and playlists on demand and ad-free at an incredibly low price,” said Cem Sibay, VP of Amazon Prime. “With Prime Student, members can enjoy this new music benefit along with exclusive student offers throughout the year, making it easy to access the best of shopping and entertainment from Prime at a great value.”

Amazon Music Unlimited has apps for most devices, including iOS and Android. A highlight of using Amazon’s music streaming service is the integration with Alexa. If you have an Echo or another Alexa enabled device, you’ll be able to easily choose songs and playlists and control the music throughout your home.

Prime members can use a free version with limited features.
