Amazon Just Released A New Streaming Service

Amazon Video1Today,  Amazon released a new streaming service that gives Amazon Prime subscribers the ability to subscribe to a network’s shows for a low monthly cost.
 

Currently, the only big networks that are included are Showtime and Starz with offer thousands of movies and TV shows. There are smaller networks like Smithsonian Earth which currently includes a few dozens episodes from 5 different shows.
 
Prices start at $2.99 per month for Warriors & Gangsters which gives you access to 45 action movies distributed by FlixFling.  Showtime and Starz, which include 600+ and 800+ TV shows and movies respectively are priced at $8.99 per month.

 

Other networks include Lifetime MovieClub, Comedy Central Stand-Up Plus, Docurama, Dove Channel, and more.

 
This service is available to Amazon Prime members as an add-on to Prime membership. You will need to use the Amazon website or Amazon app on your phone to subscribe; after that you will be able to access your content on your Fire TV and other Amazon Video apps.
 
This is a significant move for Amazon and makes cord cutting easier than ever. This also makes Amazon Video a must-have app leaving devices without Amazon Video on the outside looking in.
