Amazon is Creating Its First Original Cartoon Show For its Free IMDb TV Service

IMDb TV is Amazon’s free ad-supported streaming services. Until now it has been made up of content from other partners like Sony, MGM, and Warner Bros along with a few unscripted programs. Now Amazon has announced IMDb TV will be getting an original scripted animated TV show called You’re Not a Monster. This new show will have 10 episodes and be a short-form series that will air on IMDb TV.

“We are thrilled to offer a new original comedy series to our fans as we shine a light on the daily struggles faced by classic movie monsters,” said Steve Bernstein, GM of IMDb Video. “You’re Not a Monster is not only the first-ever animated series for IMDb, but also our first scripted program, and introducing the show on the IMDboat at San Diego Comic-Con is the perfect place to share its fun narrative alongside members of the incredible cast.”

IMDb TV comes built into the Fire TV and is available inside the Amazon Prime Video app on devices like Roku, Apple TV, and more. You may need to hunt for it as it will be one of the rows of content buried far down in the Amazon Priem Video app.
