Last week Element Electronics announced preorder and availability of the new line of 4K Ultra HD smart TVs powered by the Amazon Fire TV Edition. These are the first 4K smart TVs featuring Amazon’s Fire TV experience built in.
The smart TVs come with a voice remote with Amazon Alexa and are available in four display sizes: the new Element 4K Ultra HD Smart TV – Amazon Fire TV Edition are available for preorder starting today on Amazon.com. Preorder customers will receive a free AmazonBasics Ultra Thin Indoor HD TV Antenna – 35 Mile Range ($14.99 value), while supplies last. In-store availability will begin in June at authorized retailers nationwide.
This is one more step of Amazon’s continued efforts to push cord cutting. All in an effort to try and promote its streaming service and devices.
So if you want an antenna and have been thinking about getting a Fire TV Edition smart TV now may be the time to preorder your next smart TV.
The new Fire TV Edition smart TVs will hit the market in June 2017.
