Amazon Freevee launched a new channel today, which hosts all nine seasons of Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan.
The new channel brings more than 160 episodes of the award-winning National Geographic canine series to Freevee. Fans can catch every episode, which features guest celebrities, including Jada Pinkett Smith, Denise Richards, Howie Mandel, and Virginia Madsen.
Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan was one of National Geographic’s most-watched series for six years. More than 10 million viewers tuned in every week during the peak of the show’s popularity.
“Cesar Millan is a one-of-a-kind talent with the unique ability to connect with animals and animal lovers alike in a compelling, entertaining way,” said Marc Rashba, Cineverse’s executive vice president of partnerships. “We are delighted to offer new and existing Dog Whisperer fans the opportunity to watch this FAST channel on Amazon Freevee.”
Cineverse secured the U.S. and Canadian rights to Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan in 2023. This is the ninth channel Freevee has launched from Cineverse’s portfolio, which also includes The Bob Ross Channel, Comedy Dynamics, Dove Channel, Midnight Pulp, Nacelle Pop, Real Madrid TV, RetroCrush, and SCREAMBOX TV.
Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan debuted on the National Geographic Channel in 2004. While it initially was a 30-minute show, it moved to an hour-long prime time slot the following year. The show features problematic dogs and their frustrated families. Using behavior modification techniques, Millan trains these pet parents to become the pack leader. He breaks down the philosophy behind a happy pack and reinforces that exercise, discipline, and affection are required “in that order” for healthy dogs.
Amazon Freevee is a free streaming platform with thousands of movies and TV series. It’s available on Fire TV, Prime Video, or the Freevee app. The Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan Channel is available now.
