Thursday Night NFL Football Will Stream For Free on Amazon & Twitch Starting This Week

The imaginary stadium is modelled and rendered. This week starts off Amazon’s second season streaming Thursday Night NFL games. One thing you may notice is that for the first time there will be two female commentators covering the game. Amazon has hired Andrea Kremer and Hannah Storms to commentate all 11 of their Thursday Night NFL games this fall. This is the first time an NFL game has had an all-female commentating staff.

“Teaming up with Hannah and Amazon for this is truly special,” Kremer said in a statement. “Hannah is a brilliant journalist and she has been a friend for many years. With decades of experience as storytellers, we will be bringing a different voice and viewpoint to covering the game of football.”

FOX has announced that their broadcast team will be made up of Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Erin Andrews, and Kristina Pink. So, it is likely that not only will you get a different audio for the game but also a different video feed. Look for it to use the same cameras just with different control rooms picking what camera to show.

This is not new. The NFL has done this for other languages for some time. Just be aware that what you see with Amazon will not be the same as what you get from FOX. The question now is how similar will it be.

You will be able to stream the games for free on Twitch and Amazon Prime members will be able to watch the game through their Amazon Prime Video app.
