This week Amazon announced a new update to the user interface on the Amazon Fire TV. Now it will be easier to find the content you want and help you find a show faster.

With this update, Amazon’s Fire TV has updated its dynamic rows to be even more intelligent. Amazon says now the content on the home page will be more in line with what you watch as Amazon will be smarter in how it surfaces content you enjoy.

“An ever-expanding catalog of content doesn’t need to be overwhelming. That’s our approach to new free content for Fire TV customers from categories including sports highlights, cooking, music videos, entertainment news, and more,” Amazon said.

Amazon will also make free content more visible by offering rows that show nothing but free to watch with ads and without ads. Currently, Amazon is mainly promoting Freevee programs soon, Amazon hopes to add other providers.

The content seen on the home screen is far more likely to be watched. Amazon is hoping by putting up better recommendations, it can drive up the number of watch hours, helping improve profitability.
