Amazon Drops Shudder From Their Amazon Channels Service

Male hand holding TV remote control.Do you use Amazon Channels to manage your subscription to Shudder? Well according to AMC Networks the parent company behind the horror based streaming service Amazon has dropped the service.

In a message posted on Shuddar’s website AMC said:

Attention Shudder Community. We have a real Halloween horror story! Amazon has made the unfortunate decision to stop selling the Shudder channel, and right in the middle of the Halloween season. New members can no longer sign up through Amazon.

But don’t be scared … we’ve got your back! If you’ve been affected by this disruption, please enter your email below to receive a special offer to stream Shudder for FREE.

Why Amazon would drop Shudder is unknown as all Amazon did was manage the payment service and host the content. It would seem that there was very little cost or risk for Amazon to offer Shudder through their Amazon Channels service. So for now if you want Shudder you will need to pay through he Suddar app.
