One of the best kitchen TVs is Amazon’s Echo Show 15, which has a fire TV built-in. This device was an Amazon Echo smart display that could also be used as a TV when you wanted it with a built-in Fire TV. Sadly, if you don’t have one right now, the only way to get one from Amazon is to buy it refurbished.
Update: After our story, Amazon restocked the Echo Show 15 with Fire TV and listed it as once again available for sale. Now, though, the earliest delivery for the Echo Show 15 is in the middle of September.

Amazon has now listed the Echo Show 15 with a Fire TV built-in as no longer available, with no idea when or if it will be back in stock. This is a common move by Amazon when they discontinue the device.
Originally just sold as a smart display to help it attract more buyers Amazon later updated the device to act as a Fire TV and could be used with a Fire TV remote. This helped make it a TV that many saw as the best option for a small but powerful TV for locations like a kitchen. Sadly, it seems that Amazon has decided to discontinue sales of the device.
Cord Cutters News has reached out to Amazon for comments, but we have not heard back from them.
