Almost 70% of Americans Surveyed Would Pay for Disney+

disney + logoIn a market research study from Global Web Index, a survey showed that 69% of respondents were open to paying for the upcoming Disney+ streaming service. Disney+ is set to launch in November, with a price point of $6.99 per month.

The survey went on to show that some respondents were looking forward to the new streaming service and the content being offered that they would have been willing to pay between $10-20 per month.

As the report by The Wrap notes, these results are even more impressive when Disney+ is launching at a time when many viewers are less willing to pay for new services. According to Quarter 1 numbers, we saw a slight decline in the amount of money consumers are spending on streaming services each month, going from an average of $33 per month for 2.8 services to $30 per month for 2.6 services.

With surveys showing that cord cutters are more excited about Disney+ than any other upcoming streaming service, are you surprised to hear that so many viewers are ready and willing to pay for Disney+? Let us know in the comments!
