AARP Launches a Free & Paid Streaming Service For Members

Are you over 50? AARP wants you to know they have a new streaming service targeted just for you. This new streaming service offers a collection of free movies and paid content you can unlock. Some of the free movies that have been available include blockbuster movies like Father of the Bride, The Wiz, and other well-known movies.

With this new service, AARP says you can “discover hidden gems, new releases, and beloved classics.” Not only can you find a collection of content free for members but also be able to buy passes to movies to stream at home. You can also access some content if you are not an AARP member for a paid fee.

The big catch here is a lot of these movies are only available for limited times on certain days. So, for example, if you want to watch The Father of the Bride when it is free, you will need to be available on the night they post it.

The new app is available on Roku, Google TV, Fire TV, and Apple TV. You can find links to all of them on the AARP’s website HERE.

Here is how AARP describes this new streaming service.
