A New WNBA Documentary Is Coming Exclusively to Tubi in January

A new documentary about the Women’s National Basketball Players Association will premiere on Tubi on January 31, 2024.

The Tubi exclusive, Shattered Glass: A WNBPA Story, gives viewers an intimate glimpse into the off-court lives of players like Jonquel Jones, Nneka Ogwumike, Breanna Stewart, and WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes.

Shattered Glass: A WNBPA Story is a transcendent documentary that uniquely captures the power and spirit of female athletes,” Tubi CEO Anjali Sud said in a statement

The film, directed by Andrea Buccilla and produced in partnership with PUMA, sheds light on the politics of women’s sports, as well as the players’ family dynamics and off-season routines.

Shattered Glass: A WNBPA Story is more than a documentary – it’s a movement,” Executive Producer Terri Carmichael Jackson said in a statement. “We’re bringing to light the incredible stories of these athletes, who are not just sports icons but powerful advocates for change, respect, and inspiration – something that all women can relate to and feel empowered by.”

The upcoming documentary is free to watch on Tubi’s platform. The free ad-supported service will bring a slate of new originals and old favorites across multiple genres in the new year.
