Earlier this year LendEDU released a new study that looked at cord cutting. According to that report, 56% of cable TV subscribers are activity considering cord cutting.

Now if 56% of their customers seriously considering dumping them was not scary enough, the study also found that 48% of their customers use streaming services more than cable TV.

According to the report, the average cable TV customer was paying $115.33 per month just for TV. After canceling cable TV and adding new streaming services they saved $51.38 a month with a yearly savings of $616.56.

Cord cutting is growing faster than ever. With cable TV prices going up and customer satisfaction falling it is no wonder why cord cutting is more popular than ever. Yet cable TV still has 90 million traditional pay-TV subscribers. According to this study, over 45 million of them are actively considering cord cutting.
