Project Hail Mary, the sci-fi movie starring Ryan Gosling and based on the best-selling novel by Andy Weir, is coming to an on-demand streaming service next week.
The film premiered in theaters on March 20 and earned over $679 million globally. Last month, Project Hail Mary became available to rent or buy on platforms including Amazon Prime Video. Now, the film is landing on a streaming service for viewers to watch at home, on-demand.
Where and When to Stream Project Hail Mary
While it was expected that Project Hail Mary would land on Prime Video, Amazon MGM Studios is first bringing the title to MGM+. You’ll be able to watch with a subscription, beginning June 18.
What is Project Hail Mary About?
Project Hail Mary stars Ryan Gosling as science teach Ryland Grace who one day wakes up on a spaceship light years from home, with no idea who he is or how he got there. Throughout the movie, his memory starts to come back and discovers that he’s on a mission to save the sun before it’s destroyed by a mysterious substance.
Project Hail Mary also stars Sandra Hüller as Eva Stratt, Lionel Boyce as Carl, Ken Leung as Yáo Li-Jie, Milana Vayntrub as Olesya Ilyukhina, and James Ortiz as the voice and lead puppeteer of Rocky.
