Crunchyroll Launches on Apple TV

Anime streaming service Crunchyroll announced today that it now has an Apple TV app for users in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia.

Anime fans can now sign up for Crunchyroll on the Apple TV app, then watch on Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, and gaming consoles.

With a Crunchyroll membership, subscribers will get access to nearly 25,000 hours of content and 50,000 episodes. Crunchyroll provides fans with the ultimate anime experience, pairing a robust streaming library with exciting theatrical releases, unique games, must-have merchandise, and more.

According to a story from Crunchyroll and National Research Group, the fandom for anime rivals those of major pop-culture figures, and nearly 40% of teen anime fans consider anime a meaningful part of who they are. Crunchyroll’s lineup allows fans to stay caught up on their favorite titles, explore new fandoms, and build community.

Sign up to catch the spring anime season and winter titles that have now landed on the service, including season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen. The season features the highly anticipated Culling Game story arc, pushing Yuji Itadori and his allies to their limits. You’ll also find season 2 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End which finds Frieren confronting past relationships and rising threats with her newfound party.
