Today, Netflix and Apple announced that they will collaborate to offer Formula 1 content this year. For the first time, F1: Drive to Survive will be available to stream globally on Netflix, along with Apple TV in the U.S. Netflix will also be streaming the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix live to viewers in the U.S. from May 22-24.

Apple and Formula 1 announced a new five-year partnership in October 2025 that will bring all F1 races exclusively to Apple TV in the United States this coming season.

Apple’s coverage will include all practice, qualifying, Sprint sessions, and Grands Prix and will be available to all Apple TV subscribers. Select races and all practice sessions will also be available for free in the Apple TV app throughout the course of the season.

Viewers looking for more F1 content in addition to the live events will be able to tune in to the 8th season of Drive to Survive. The new season follows the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship, including the journey of six rookies entering the competition and growing stakes for the 10 teams and 20 drivers.

Here’s how Netflix describes the season: The 2025 Formula One World Championship was one for the books, and Season 8 of Drive to Survive captures the on- and off-track moments that shaped a year of teammate rivalries, driver changes, and management shifts. Interviews with drivers give fans a view inside the helmets of the athletes competing at the highest level of motorsport as they let the cameras into their paddock and homes. With a championship battle that comes down to the final checkered flag, Season 8 is not one to miss.

Watch the latest season when it streams on both Netflix (globally) and Apple TV (US only) on February 27.
