12 Rounds (John Cena)
John Cena plays Detective Danny Fisher, who finds himself in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse after a vengeful terrorist escapes prison and forces him to complete 12 dangerous tasks to save his kidnapped fiancée. Set against the backdrop of New Orleans, this fast-paced action flick keeps the adrenaline high with car chases, explosions, and classic Cena grit.
Released during Cena’s early Hollywood run, 12 Rounds served as one of WWE Studios’ flagship attempts to break its stars into mainstream cinema. Though critics were mixed on its over-the-top plot, the film earned a cult following among wrestling fans and action lovers alike. It’s a solid reminder of Cena’s roots before his full crossover to blockbuster stardom. Best part? If you have Amazon Prime, you can finally see him.

The Marine 5: Battleground (The Miz)
Mike “The Miz” Mizanin reprises his role as Jake Carter, now working as an EMT who finds himself protecting an injured man from a ruthless biker gang. What starts as a routine call quickly escalates into a violent showdown in an abandoned parking garage, filled with gunfire, backstabs, and The Miz’s signature smirk under pressure.
The Marine 5 is notable not just for The Miz’s lead role but also for its WWE-heavy ensemble, featuring Naomi, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, and Bo Dallas. While it didn’t reinvent the genre, it delivered exactly what fans expected: tight action, relentless pacing, and a sense of WWE-family fun that made it a favorite among loyal viewers. While the Grand Slam Champion of WWE is still hoping for a spot on WrestleMania 41, he has plenty of film credits to keep his IMDB profile loaded.

Critics and horror buffs were surprised by Punk’s solid performance in a film that exceeded expectations. Girl on the Third Floor was praised for its practical effects, creeping dread, and unexpected depth. It’s become a cult indie horror gem and gave Punk some cinematic credibility beyond the squared circle. While Reigns had a small role, the film marked his theatrical debut and a key step in establishing his Hollywood presence. Fans appreciated the nod to his real-life bond with The Rock, and the movie’s over-the-top action and family-first message fit WWE’s brand perfectly. It was a box office hit and reinforced Roman’s potential beyond the ring.

Although his role is more of a cameo, Rollins’s appearance in Trouble showed off his versatility and willingness to poke fun at himself. The film received modest reviews, but its Netflix run introduced it to a broader audience…and wrestling fans got a kick out of recognizing The Architect in a surprising place.
