SlingYesterday Sling TV released a major update to their Android App, which brings it in line with all the features the Roku and Apple TV offer.

The new Android app looks and acts similarly to the Roku app with a Netflix-like layout. All the tabs you would expect are there: Sports, Movies, and Guide along with the On Now and My TV.

This Sling TV update enables you to access your custom guide and favorite shows right from your phone, allowing you to access your favorite content all in one place with the My TV page.

The new Sling TV Android app now offers users one interface on all devices, making it easy for a subscriber to move from one device to the next and enjoy the same interface.

This update comes at the end of a busy month for Sling TV. They recently added NBA TV, NHL TV, Hallmark, Hallmark Movies, and other channels to their lineup. The best part is you can access all of this content through one app without the need to switch between apps.
