Recently Sling TV quietly rolled out Sling Central to its app on many devices. This feature allows Sling subscribers to access free previews of popular shows from HBO and Showtime. It also helps promote Sling TV add-ons and DVR access.
“Sling Central serves as the Sling TV hub in the guide, where customers can go to access previews of popular premium shows and explore additional content and Sling TV promotions. Currently, Sling Central includes premiere episodes from popular HBO and Showtime shows, plus how-to videos to learn more about our 4 Extras Deal and DVR access. Customers can expect Sling Central to continue to grow with additional content in the future,” said a Sling TV spokesperson in a statement to Cord Cutters News.
In short, it looks like Sling Central will let you watch the first episode of many popular shows from premium networks and allow you to learn more about all the add-ons Sling TV has to offer.
Sling Central feels like the first step in what will likely become the go-to place for Sling TV subscribers wanting to learn more about what Sling TV has to offer.
