Recently DIRECTV NOW added support for Roku players. The catch? Not all Roku players are supported by DIRECTV NOW. We have been receiving a lot of questions about which devices are supported, so we wanted to take a moment and answer that question for everyone.
The following Roku players are currently supported by DIRECTV NOW:

- Roku Premiere
- Roku Premiere +
- Roku Ultra
- Roku 4
- Roku 3
- Roku Express
- Roku Express+
- 4K Roku TVs
DIRECTV NOW has stated that more Roku support is coming. It specifically listed non-4K Roku TVs as one of the players that will get support for DIRECTV NOW.
If you sign up for DIRECTV NOW through a Roku player, you can get a free month of DIRECTV NOW. Be careful, because you need to follow the instructions on your Roku screen carefully to get the one-month free trial. If you don’t follow them you will only get the standard free week.
