It looks like Sony made changes to some of their mobile restrictions on their PlayStation Vue live TV streaming service. Today I am receiving reports that you can now stream CBS on mobile devices something that used to be restricted.
Sony has made no official statement on the change but we can confirm that PlayStation Vue subscribers can now stream CBS outside their house.
This all seems to be apart of a push for more locals after Sony announced they would eliminate their Slim Plans. Starting in October most PlayStation Vue subscribers will see a price hike to at least $39.99 a month. This change will affect 203 markets out of about 210 markets that Sony’s PlayStation Vue supports. Now if you are in one of the original markets that already paid an extra $10 a month and started at $39.99 you won’t see a price hike. This only affected people in the old Slim plans.
Hopefully, Sony will continue to add more locals and make them available in more markets.
