Over the weekend Reddit and our email box blew up over what looked like PlayStation Vue dropping NBC sports.
It looked like PlayStation Vue had dropped NBC Sports from its lineup, because when you tried to use the NBC Sports app you received a message saying PlayStation Vue was no longer supported. If you went and looked at the list of supported NBC Sports logins you would have found PlayStation Vue missing.
It seems that was all a technical issue that is now fixed. Although Sony never did comment on what was happening, the issue was fixed quickly and PlayStation Vue subscribers who had the channel in their package once again had access to the NBC Sports app.
It is important to remember that services such as PlayStation Vue, Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, and Hulu are all still new and will have growing pains. With any new service and technology, you should expect issues from time to time. So always remember to give them the benefit of the doubt and a little time to fix issues like this when they come up.
