NewsON Launches on The Apple TV Offering Live News From 179 Local TV Stations

Want to stream local news for free? NewsON offers live and on-demand local news from over 179 local TV is now streaming on the Apple TV. In the past, you need a Roku or a mobile device to use NewsON. Now there is a native app on the Apple  TV. Not only is one of your local TV stations likely streaming on NewsON but you can also stream local news from around the United States.

NewsON is now available on iOS, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and the Apple TV TV devices. No word yet on Android TV support but hopefully they continue to roll out support to more devices soon.

This news comes just a few weeks after NewsON launched on the Fire TV. You can add NewsON to your Fire TV HERE.
