The M6 Build Team from “MythBusters” is coming back to TV with a brand-new show on Netflix. The new show is called “The White Rabbit Project” and will star Grant Imahara, Tory Belleci, and Kari Byron.
The show was described as a “‘MythBusters’ in Wonderland” concept and will likely follow the general concept of the “MythBusters” show but with a different feel. The show is expected to hit Netflix in late 2016 or early 2017 but no date has been announced at this time.
For now that is all we know about the show but this is not the first time Netflix has picked up a spin off from a popular show. Recently Netflix had a huge hit with “Fuller House,” a spin off of the 1990s hit “Full House.” They have also seen great success after they picked up a new season of “Arrested Development.”
This is all part of Netflix’s $6 billion commitment to original content in 2016. We have no idea of a release for “The White Rabbit Project” this is likely to hit Netflix in late 2016 or early 2017.
This could mark one more example of a show traditional TV networks turned down that Netflix will show is still popular and profitable.
