BOB'S BURGERS

BOB'S BURGERSAT&T’s live TV streaming service DIRECTV NOW has been quietly adding new locals without a lot of fanfare.

So far most of the growth has been from Fox, which has doubled its local affiliates from 15 at launch to now over 30 including the most recent addition of Miami’s Fox affiliate to the service. From what we can tell many of these stations additions was not announced when they happened.

Not only has DIRECTV NOW been adding more Fox affiliates, it also added MyNetworkTV in more markets. This is a brand-new local affiliate that is coming to DIRECTV NOW.

At first it was reported that the locals being added were a national feed, but now it seems they are true local feeds in the new markets with local news and programming.

DIRECTV NOW has slowly and quietly been growing its local TV affiliates across all of its channels. The interesting part is this is likely just the start.

Recently it was announced that NBC and ABC both struck deals with their affiliates to allow the networks to negotiate streaming deals on their behalf. When both of these deals were announced DIRECTV NOW was one of the services listed to get ABC and NBC locals. These deals have the opportunity to bring several hundred new locals to DIRECTV NOW over the next few months.

Can you help us come up with a full list of DIRECTV NOW affiliates? Here is the list of the locals when DIRECTV NOW launched. If you noticed any that have been added please leave us the affiliate and channel ID in the comments. From there we will build a new list of every local DIRECTV NOW has added.
